Artist Statement – Mangoes Still Life Art
This painting is 30 * 20 cm or 11.8*7.87 inches of oil on unprimed canvas .This painting is a part of the Art Challenge series painted on day 27.I have used Alla Prima techniques to finish the painting .
The setup is taken from my kitchen utility to canvas . This subject of Mangoes is a part of the seasonal fruit diet routine . Here in the Indian diet’ Mangoes “are considered king of fruits. We may see them seasonal but I see them as a work of art .After all the art happens in the mind of the person seeing them.
