About Artwork – Winterscape
Winterscape is an 50*60 cm oil painting on canvas. This painting has a lot of texture on it . I played with sculpting and scrapping with palette knife techniques on the canvas to have a feel effect of grasses from far on the painting .Lots of glazes have gone on it to get a light effect from far .Reflection on water is a totally new subject and was quite overwhelming here . Often get reminded of Rembrandt how beautifully he mastered the light effect on the subject.
