Artist Statement – The Chef
This painting is 27.94* 34.56 cm or 11*14 inches of oil on panel .This painting painted during covid time is a dedication to their work during Covid. The pandemic was so painful for entire humanity that it will never be forgotten. I have seen many chefs working tirelessly making food for the homeless and those who got stuck during covid and also realised they didn’t raise their prices on foods because everything was shut down . The groceries were not available sometimes , people were just piling on food because of scarcity . I myself was stuck for months due to cancellation of flights within gulf countries.This piece is dedicated to them in that painful time of not giving up and working towards humanity.
