Artist Statement – Metal and oranges Still Life Art
This painting is 30 * 20 cm or 11.8*7.87 inches of oil on unprimed canvas .This painting is a part of the Art Challenge series painted on day 30 .I have used Alla Prima techniques to finish the painting .
The setup is taken from my kitchen utility to canvas . This subject is filter coffee jar and oranges .Traditionally Indian households especially in south India ,use filter coffee jar to make filter coffee recipes .After all the art happens in the mind of the person seeing them.
