Artist Statement – Rose Miniature Painting
This painting is 13*18 cm or 5*7inches of oil on canvas .Inspired from photos back home in Kerala. Flowers will be ever part of my art journey . This elegant colour contrast and composition takes me to the place where I first saw this small rose.
I have painted it very loosely, integrating negative space effectively.
