Artist Statement – Grace
This painting is 40.64*50.8cm or 15.748*19.685 inches of oil on canvas .This painting comes from inspiration and references collected from my Nepal visit.This study began in 2021, later dumped. But the smile of this lady always made me want to come back. I have seen many mothers across the mountains and amidst the emerald tea fields, they toll with their babies snugly tied to their backs, balancing work and nurturing with grace. Each step echoes their resilience, embodying the timeless bond of maternal love amidst the tranquil beauty of the estate. This resilience with grace and the gentle smile of this young beauty reminds me of my childhood memories with my mother . This art is dedicated to all resilient mothers big or small across the globe.
